Easiest way to do it is straight from the Wordpress dashboard.

Step 1:

From the Dashboard panel, click on “Settings”, then select “General”.

Step 2:

From the General Settings, you’ll see the “Wordpress Address(URL)” and “Site Address (URL)”. These addresses may be different from each other, depending on where your Wordpress Installation Directory is. Enter the address that you need. Do not forget to remove the slash (/) at the end.

That’s how you change your site URL.
